Cut Flowers

Rose (Rosa)
Cut roses do best in cool temperatures away from direct sunlight.  Change the water every few days using a clean container. Re-cut the stems on an angle every third water change.

Daisy (Chrysanthemum)
Daisies tolerate moderate temperatures.  Change the water occasionally using a clean container.  Re-cut the stems on an angle if needed.

Sunflower (Helianthus)
Sunflowers do well at room temperature.  Re-cut the stems on an angle and change the water often using a clean container.

Plants

Cyclamen (C. Persicum)
Likes cool temperatures (55-65°F) and bright light but not direct sunlight.  Keep the soil moist but do not over water.  Add humidity if possible.

Hydrangea (H. Macrophylia)
Likes cool temperatures. Check soil often and keep soil moist from spring to fall. Should not water with hard water.

Daffodil (Narcissus Hybrida)
A sure sign of spring.  Likes bright light and moderate watering.

Orchid (Orchidaceae)
Prefer lots of light but not direct sunlight, moderate temperatures with a seven week period with high temperatures around 50 degree F for good flowering.
